Jan 31 - Feb 6: Songs of the Week

Welcome to a new section where I introduce the songs I like. Since this is still new to me, I guess I'll be posting a playlist of a few songs I like. If you're interested to know what kind of songs I like, it's all going to be Korean songs, no doubt. But, just to spice up my life, I do listen to a variety of songs, including hip-hop, ballads and of course, pop. Maybe through these playlists, you'll get a sense of what kind of songs I like.

DΞΔN x CRUSH x JEFF BERNAT "what2do"

I realized that I do have "Songs of the Week" (starts tomorrow), but usually those songs are from my playlists and consist of older songs. So, I won't have any new songs that were just released on those playlists. Instead, I decided to start a new section dedicated to new song releases and since I might be doing this weekly, I would choose a new song that I liked from the week.

For the first song release of this week, we have *drum roll please* DΞΔN x CRUSH x JEFF BERNAT "what2do" (oops, I just realized the title gives it away).

My Favorite KDramas

I've probably spent the past 3 years watching Korean dramas, and sure enough I've come across some good, some bad, some okay ones. Here's my top 5 in no particular order:

1. Reply 1988
        This drama just finished recently and while the reply series were really a game of "guess the husband", this one focused a lot on family. I don't know about you, but I was literally left crying every single week. Did I mention I have a really bad case of second lead syndrome with this one?

Why "Secret" Drama Addict

If you were wondering why I decided to call myself a "secret drama addict", it's because only my closest friends know that I'm a big Kpop fan and of course, a drama addict. I don't know about you, but I sometimes don't feel accepted because I don't follow American pop culture. In some cases, I also feel "uncultured" as they say it because I don't know iconic figures. (Okay, it's not that bad, but I have a bad memory for names, unless they're Korean singers/group/actors/actresses. Also, I don't want to be racist, but everyone literally looks the same to me; yet, I can identify and distinguish all the celebrities I follow.)

New Year, New Beginnings

Hey ya'll. I've decided to start a new blog dedicated to my passions for korean dramas and kpop. Those who know me, know that I'm an avid drama watcher. At some points, I can watch up to five dramas at one time. I guess this is the place for me to do my rambling since I've been feeling really bottled up recently. Don't mind me, this blog is really for me to do my own stuff but feel free to look around :).
