December in Review

Unlike November and October, December flew by so fast. I finished another semester and another year is finished. I'm planning to do a Year in Review, which will be slightly different from my regular monthly reviews because they'll be split in three categories. And before I go on with the review, I'm actually planning to move my blog onto WordPress in January, so the Year in Reviews will be the last posts on this site. For now, let's wrap December up.

Entourage Review

In my first impression, it was quite obvious that I didn't like it, but I thought it was getting better around episode 5 or 6. Sadly, episodes after that, I was starting to get annoyed again. Looking at the drama as a whole, I don't feel anything special about it - there was no plot and the characters were boring/annoying.

Sister's Slam Dunk Review

For most of this year, I've been keeping up with Sister's Slam Dunk with Sook, Jessi, Tiffany, Hong Jinkyung, Ra Miran, and Min Hyorin. Although Tiffany left in the middle because of her scandal, I will still talk about her because she is still part of the OT6. I remember being very skeptical when I first started this variety show because I didn't think it would be entertaining. I didn't really know the cast besides Jessi and Tiffany and seeing Ra Miran in Reply 1988. I'm glad I stuck with it because it holds a big place in my heart. I laughed, I cried, and it gave me a whole ride of emotions. I really liked how the show took time to focus on each member and I feel like we were able to understand each person as a whole.

Though some may disagree, I really love it when Heize sings. She has such a sweet voice and it just shows that you don't necessarily need a strong voice to be a good singer.

I'm actually not a big fan of this song, but the music video is pretty entertaining, and its Thunder!!

Goblin First Impressions

I honestly don't know what dramas are coming out, but my friend had highly recommended this one because Sungjae was in it. Sungjae's not the main character, but the story line is pretty interesting. What stood out to me the most was the concept of the goblin and how the goblin comes about. I'm pretty sure it was explained in the beginning when I wasn't paying attention because I was too busy eating. Not to mention, the beginning was a historical time set and it was pretty dark and bloody.

Wow, I actually had no idea that all of the original members of Rania left. I'm surprised when Jooyi came out with this song as Cosmic Girl, not to be confused with WSJN (Cosmic Girls). Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the name, Cosmic Girl either.

Unpretty Rapstar 3 Review

The wait is finally over. I know Unpretty Rapstar 3 ended months ago, but I really wanted to wait until I actually watched the whole thing, subbed before I wrote a review. Yes, I did know ahead of time what happened because I love watching spoilers, but everything somehow becomes more appealing when you know what the songs are about and the makings behind the songs. I'll be honest, I feel like it's been so long that I completely forgot what has happened.
