November in Review

November sure is hectic, not that I had a lot of midterms going on, but a lot of assignments and pressure to get things done. I feel like I've been starting to post less and less, though it really reflects how active I am with watching and keeping up with shows. I know I definitely slowed down watching drama because the current dramas haven't been very attractive to me lately. Dramas aren't the only thing that run my life now, and this change scares me.

My Thoughts on 2NE1's Disbandment

Surprisingly, I wasn't surprised at the news.  +2NE1 used to be one of my favorite groups, back when I was in middle school. I loved their songs, I loved their styles, they were like role models to me. But then I moved on and as you can tell from my blog, I don't really follow music all that much anymore. I still like to follow hip hop artists and rappers, but that's it. There are just so many groups that are disbanding that I'm really surprised anymore, especially after 4Minute disbanded earlier this year. I wasn't a big fan of them at all and I actually didn't really like their songs either, but it's still heartbreaking.

KittiB, San E, Mad Clown & More

UP10TION - White Night

KittiB - Nobody's Perfect
I love this song so much; it's so deep, it gives me goosebumps.

Shinee, Jia & More

SHINee - Tell Me What To Do
I'm actually not a very big fan of Shinee, but this song is pretty good. Probably one of my favorites, besides View.

Jia - Drip
Yay for Jia's solo debut after she left Miss A. The song definitely sounds really familiar because it sounds like many other songs out there, but not bad at all.

The Legend of the Blue Sea First Impressions

I usually don't watch a lot of overrated dramas, only because I feel like everyone hypes them up so much that it influences my perspectives on it. I'm usually blinded by everyone else's opinion on it that I end up not having my own. Since I didn't have anything to watch, I decided to start The Legend of the Blue Sea. I heard it's the same writer as You From Another Star, but I actually haven't watched that (but I know what it's about because recaps).

The K2 Review

I feel like I've talked so much about how I didn't understand what was going on in The K2. Politics and conglomerates never made much sense to me because it's all just a fight for power. Choi Yoo Jin wants to have it all - be the first lady and take over JB Group. She controls her husband, Se Joon by using his daughter (not her blood related daughter). Je Ha is a run away agent who wants to take revenge for his dead fiance, who was killed by Park Kwan Soo, Se Joon's running mate in the presidency. Je Ha finds Yoo Jin, who persuades him to work under her so that they can help each other out, instead of killing each other, but he finds it hard to do so when he's in love with Anna and the two women hate each other.

BAP, BTOB, Hyolyn & More

B.A.P - Skydive
I'm no good at interpreting music videos, but there are pretty good interpretations in the comments. I love watching these music videos, but I don't understand why everyone has to die. I'm so happy B.A.P is finally back because it reminds me of how much I loved them. I love their strong concepts because it usually comes with deep meanings.

Mamamoo - Décalcomanie

Entourage First Impressions

The Korean remake of Entourage just started airing last Friday. It was a very highly anticipated drama, but it also received a lot of backlash when the first episode came out. I thought it was best to watch the first episode myself to see what it was all about before judging it. I've never watched the original version so i don't know what has changed/ what has stayed the same. I honestly thought this was going to be a movie when I first started it because the filming was so similar to a movie - the color scheme, the loud background music, the opening scenes, etc.

VIXX, BlackPink, Taeyeon & More

BlackPink - Stay
I know people will hate me when I say this, but I can't help but be reminded of 2NE1. I think it's just the style of music that's similar. Their other song, Playing With Fire, is pretty good as well, but nothing really stands out for me.

MC Mong - Visual Gangster
All of his songs have the same sort of feel and it throws me back to when I loved his previous album and I was just listening on repeat. Don't forget to check out his other song, Tears.
