July in Review

July flew by so fast, especially because it is vacation time. While I had a really hectic month with my life outside of kdramas, I still tried to make time for dramas. After all, dramas are my stress reliever and I picked up so many good ones to the point that I had trouble keeping up with everything, though I only need one day to catch up on everything, being the marathoner I am. And just to be clear, the only thing I marathon is dramas.

Show Me the Money 5 Review

Surprise surprise I didn't finished SMTM yet, but I felt like this was long overdue. I know SMTM ended a few weeks ago and I'm just behind on it. Subs usually come out a week after the episode does, and I watch it even later than that (only because I have too many dramas to keep up on!). So instead of watching, I would watch spoilers on Instagram and Youtube because I'm curious as to what happens. I intended to do one full review at first, but I realized I have a really bad memory, so I did a half way review earlier. Although the ending is what everyone cares about, I find the beginning the most entertaining. The producers are quite funny in the beginning because it's more chill, while towards the ending, everyone is just trying to win.

Beautiful Gong Shim Review

I started reading this drama without even knowing what it was going to be about, but it had surpassed my expectations. Right from the start, I thought it was pretty funny because of the two dorky main characters. But more than that, I thought that Minah's character, Gong Shim is someone I fear becoming. Gong Shim is a person who's underestimated, has bad luck, and works part time jobs all day because she can't get a full time one. I'm sure everyone has these fears, especially those who are getting to that age where they are unclear about their futures.

It stresses me out when I have a lack of posts because a few months ago, I had everything scheduled and I have absolutely nothing now. I used to make playlists, but now that it's summer, I'm more focused on dramas and variety shows than songs. Maybe you're wondering why I'm writing a review for Lucky Romance when it didn't even finish, but it is because I ultimately decided that I didn't want to watch it anymore. Perhaps I don't really have the right to write a review for this drama because I was only reading it and I dropped it half way through. Maybe it would have been a little more captivating if I actually watched it, but I didn't want to waste two hours each week watching something I didn't really like. So instead, I'll talk about why I didn't like this drama and decided to drop it.
